UPDATE – “The Way” ist jetzt nicht mehr “on the way”, es ist online. / “The Way” is online.
Als Vanessa Hellmann mich fragte, ob ich im Musikvideo ihrer kleinen Schwester mitspielen wolle, hab ich ohne zu zögern “Ja” gesagt. “Was für eine Rolle soll ich spielen?”, fragte ich. “Ach, du wirst ihr Liebhaber”, sagte Vanessa. “Wird’s sehr schnulzig?”, fragte ich. “Nein, es wird sehr nostalgisch und ein bisschen süß”, sagte Vanessa. Als ich am Drehort ankam und den Song zum ersten Mal hörte, wusste ich, Vanessa war nicht ganz ehrlich gewesen. Im Video gibt’s Seifenblasen, Sonnenstrahlen und zwei Turteltauben zu sehen. Und Vanessa hat einen fantastischen Job gemacht. Daumen hoch an die kleine Rockröhre Laura Diederich, die den Popsong geschrieben hat. Laura hat ordentlich Kraft in der Stimme. Viel Spaß mit dem Teaser, bald kommt das Video.
When Vanessa Hellmann asked me if I would be available to play a role in her baby sisters music video I said “Yes” without hesitation. I asked her which part I had to play, and she said “You will be the lover.” I asked her, “Will it be very cheesy?”, she said “No, just sweet.” I arrived on the set not knowing the song and when I heard the lyrics for the first time I knew Vanessa had not been completely honest with me. There are bubbles, shafts of sunlight, and two love birds in the video. And Vanessa did an amazing job. Also big ups to young singer Laura Diederich who wrote this lovely pop song and performs it with passion. Enjoy the teaser, the video will follow soon.
